RBC is one of Canada’s largest financial institutions that a lot of Canadians depend on for their everyday banking. With other Canadian banks coming to the market, RBC has to stay innovative to stay ahead.
The Problem
- • Different divisions within RBC had customers logging in different areas to access
- • Disjointed experience causing customers frustration
- • Other banks advancing in the FinTech space with innovative solutions
The Solution
- • Unified multi-application user experience
- • Redesigned full user journey across each channels
- • Wireframe and prototyped concepts for fast iteration designs
- • Video production design to visualize the full user journey for upper management approvals validating concepts
The Product and Outcomes
This project was very challenging which made it fun to work on. Trying to innovate on such a complex design with many moving parts is not easy. Being the lead on this project involved a lot of great communication among the team and directors to ensure our vision and ideas were cohesive for RBC which would not only modernize their customer’s experience but be scalable to stay ahead of their competitors for years to come continuously.
