The Client
Analog Coffee is a specialty coffee shop based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They’re known for their quality coffee and inviting atmosphere, offering a range of coffee beverages and sometimes food items. Analog Coffee has multiple locations across Calgary and is popular among locals and visitors for its commitment to excellent coffee and friendly service. Before all this, Analog never had a coffee and food ordering app.
The Problem
- • Did not have an mobile ordering app
- • Covid-19 Pandemic happened
- • Stores had massive reduction in how customers ordered and required minimal contact
- • Current POS did not have plug-n-play solution for api's to communicate
The Solution
- • Rapid wireframes and prototype designs for validation in usability testing
- • Virtual usability testing
- • Collaboration with POS company to come up with solutions for API integration
- • Competitive analysis of current food app markets
The Product and Outcomes
The pandemic was a challenge for everyone in the world, especially the food industry that dealt with facing customers. This was the case for Analog. Designing and building a fully functioning app and getting it to market was challenging and rewarding at the same time. Following agile methodologies we were able to iterate quickly and continuously perform usability and QA tests to ensure we had a good product for their customers.
